Terms & Conditions
Last updated: August 9, 2026
These terms explain, in plain language, how we work together — from the first project brief to final handover. Please read them before engaging NOOR Productions for any services.
Introduction & Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to NOOR Productions. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and any services you engage us for, including website design, development, and related digital work. By contacting us, requesting a proposal, or engaging us for a project, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, we ask that you not proceed with engaging our services. We may update these Terms from time to time, and continued engagement with us after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Services Provided
NOOR Productions is a boutique, remote-first web design and development studio. We offer website design, front-end and back-end development, and search engine optimization (SEO) services, along with related digital work as agreed on a per-project basis.
We operate without a fixed physical office, working with clients across locations through calls, email, and shared project tools. The specific scope of work for any engagement will be detailed in a proposal, quote, or project brief agreed upon before work begins. Anything outside that agreed scope — additional pages, features, or platforms not originally discussed — will be treated as a change request and quoted separately.
Project Process & Payment Terms
Most projects follow a straightforward payment structure: 50% of the total project fee is due as a deposit before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon completion, prior to the site going live. This deposit secures your place in our project schedule and covers initial design and development work.
For larger or longer-running projects, we may instead propose milestone-based billing, where payment is split across agreed project stages (for example: discovery, design, development, and launch). This will always be laid out clearly in your proposal before the project starts.
Invoices are payable within the timeframe stated on the invoice. Work on active tasks may pause if payment is significantly overdue, and launch will not proceed until the final balance has been settled.
Revisions & Review Process
We don't work off a rigid "two rounds of revisions" model. Every site we build is personally reviewed and refined by our team until we're genuinely happy with the result and it meets the goals set out in the project brief — and we expect you to be happy with it too.
That said, this process is collaborative, not open-ended. Feedback should relate to the agreed scope and brief; requests that meaningfully expand the original scope (new pages, new features, a different design direction than what was approved) may be treated as additional work and quoted accordingly. We'll always flag this clearly before doing anything that would incur extra cost.
Cancellations & Refunds
We understand that plans change. If a project is cancelled partway through, you will be billed only for the work completed up to the point of cancellation, calculated as a fair proportion of the total project fee based on progress made.
The initial deposit is generally non-refundable once work has begun, as it covers time already committed to your project — including planning, design, and any development completed. Any amount paid beyond the value of completed work will be refunded. Cancellation requests should be sent to us in writing via our contact page.
Ownership & Intellectual Property
Once your project is paid for in full, you own the final website, its code, and associated deliverables created specifically for your project. You're free to host it, modify it, or hand it to another developer going forward.
Until the final invoice is paid in full, all design and development work remains the intellectual property of NOOR Productions. We also retain the right to showcase completed projects in our portfolio and marketing materials unless you request otherwise in writing. Third-party assets used in your project (fonts, stock imagery, plugins, or libraries) remain subject to their own respective licenses.
Hosting & Domains
Clients are responsible for purchasing and maintaining their own domain name and hosting plan, unless we've explicitly agreed otherwise for a specific project. We're happy to advise on suitable hosting options and assist with initial setup and launch, but we do not manage hosting or domain renewals on an ongoing basis.
If access to hosting or domain accounts is needed to complete a project, you agree to provide it in a timely manner, or to grant us the necessary temporary access to complete deployment.
Client Responsibilities
A smooth project depends on both sides. We ask that you provide necessary content, assets (such as text, images, logos, and branding materials), and feedback in a timely manner throughout the project. Delays in providing these materials may, in turn, delay project timelines and launch dates.
You're responsible for ensuring that any content, images, or materials you provide for use on your website do not infringe on the rights of third parties. We are not liable for content supplied by you.
Limitation of Liability
We take care and pride in the work we deliver, but as with any digital service, we cannot guarantee that your website will be entirely free of errors, uninterrupted, or immune to third-party issues (such as hosting outages, browser updates, or third-party plugin changes).
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NOOR Productions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or your website, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim relating to a project shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for that specific project.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and any disputes arising from these Terms or our services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, processes, or legal requirements. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically, particularly before starting a new project with us.
